Rombeek

Sad about her parting, but grateful for her great interest in the activities to remember the early activities of the Dutch Naval Aviation Service (MLD) with the Dornier Wal flying boat in the Dutch East Indies. I am grateful and proud for her consent to use at our presentations her great film about Surabaya with the Dornier Wal on the Naval Air Station Morokrembangan, the parade on Queen Wilhelmina's Birthday on 31 august 1935 and all the unique images full of sphere and spices of this city. I will remember the 100-year old Sara Frederika Maria Rombeek - Kool, the widow of the late Captain (Fl) Royal Netherlands Navy Step Rombeek, with affection.
